14" Chaining Pin is a helpful accessory to have when measuring long distances with a survey chain. Chaining pins are used as temporary markings in a variety of situations on the job. They are most frequently used to mark tape lengths on the ground as a survey crew moves along the job site. These are specifically made of 3/16 inch diameter spring steel. They are 14 inches long with a sharpened point. These are specifically painted alternating 1 inch bands of red and white on the middle part of each chaining pin to help you get all of your pins in a row at an even height. The durable powder-coat finish helps this pin last longer from rust and corrosion.
These chaining pins fit into marking pin quivers (sold separately) which allow for easy storage and transportation.
